      1: This American Discourse

      2: Create Discourse

APRIL 2007
In the first week in April Antero proposed a collaboration of sorts. I was excited about the idea and jumped on board. I think Antero sums it up well:

"Below is a series of email exchanges between Daye and I over the past week and a half. The focus (initially) is on the second episode of the new television adaptation of This American Life. The exchange is lengthy and meanders (happily) into various strands of irrelevant minutiae (much like a genuine conversation should). As much as this conversation proved fruitful for the two of us, it is also an experiment in form. At the end, Daye proposes a new topic and we will be tweaking with the format of posting our exchanges in the future. Again, I want to thank Daye for her patience and enthusiasm in the first of what should be many blogged exchanges. Onward!"

So have at it. Number 1: This American Discourse is ready for reading. As time progresses, the format may change, the options of Comments may appear. It's all a work in progress.

JANUARY 2010
OH SNAP!

There's been a bit of time *cough* since the last (and only) Versus. I'm excited that Antero and I are getting the band back together. It's a BookClub version of Versus, starting with Edwidge Danticat's "Create Dangerously: The Immigrant Artist at Work."
